Brian David Spotts, 55, of Pottsville, passed away unexpectedly on April 11th, 2025, at his home.

Born and raised in Pottsville, Brian was the son of the late Francis and Lucille (Wachter) Spotts. He was a 1989 graduate of Pottsville Area High School.

Throughout his life, Brian contributed to his community in many ways including time spent as a volunteer firefighter and EMT. His most impactful contributions came from the time and dedication he gave to Crimson Tide sports including soccer, softball, basketball and football. With his attention to detail, good nature and quiet smile, Brian touched the lives of his family, friends, fellow coaches and student athletes. He was honest, reliable, encouraging and always ready with friendly conversation. He will be dearly missed at home, along the sidelines and throughout Pottsville.

Brian is survived by a brother, Paul Spotts (Abby), sister, Karen Galen, nephews, Eli, Jonah and Ryan, nieces, Britney and Kaci as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

A Celebration of Brian's Life will be held at a later date. Friends are asked to wear Crimson Tide Colors. ROLL TIDE!

Arrangements have been entrusted to Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home.
