Brian Staley, age 65, of Greenbackville, Virginia passed away February 13, 2024. He was preceded in death by his parents John and Mary Pat Staley. He is survived by his daughter Michelle and her partner Pat, his grandchildren Joseph and Emily, his brothers and sisters Jack and Jody, Jerry and Mary, Valerie, Greg and Lynette, and so many loved nieces and nephews.
Brian grew up in Bel Air, MD where he attended Bel Air High School. While he lived in Bel Air he enjoyed boating on the Chesapeake Bay with his friends at the Bush River Yacht Club. Brian retired to Greenbackville, Virginia where he loved early mornings on his screen porch and the peace of the Eastern Shore. He loved dreaming of the beach weather and drumming in his garage.
He leaves this earth so soon, but we know he is now free of his heartache and finally at peace. He is forever in our hearts and his great Super Pop hugs felt in our trying times.
Services will be held at Burbage Funeral Home in Berlin on February 17th from 1 to 3 PM, all are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Diakoniaoc.org.
