With heavy hearts, yet with gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of a beloved son, brother, uncle, and grandson, Brian Amari Still, affectionately known by many as BB still, Debo, Bando, B-Nard, B-Dot, Chicken Little, Albert Greene, B-Ski and many other nicknames that showcased his vibrant personality. Born on August 26, 2007 in
Camden, NJ, Brian's zest for life was evident from his earliest days. His spirit was as expansive as his smile, and his compassion was as limitless as his dreams. His life, though cut short, was filled with adventure, laughter, and boundless love for his family.
Brian was a bright and adventurous spirit who left a lasting impact on every life he touched. Despite his young age, he had an old soul, always displaying an unwavering commitment to his family. He filled the room with warm laughter and was always ready to share his wisdom beyond his years. He loved sleeping, eating everyone out of house and home, and babysitting his nieces and nephew. A quote that seems to resonate with Brian's lifestyle is "In family life, love is the oil that eases friction, the cement that binds closer together, and the music that brings harmony." - Friedrich Nietzsche. Brian's love was indeed the oil, cement, and music in his family.
Brian was a smart and accomplished teenager with a curiosity that knew no bounds. He was a proud member of the Collingswood Panthers and Camden Bulldogs Football teams, where he channeled his energy and spirit into every play. His academic prowess was equally impressive; Brian was an honor roll student with perfect attendance, demonstrating his dedication and commitment to his education. Off the field, he had a passion for coding, showcasing his love for problem-solving and technology. The love for Mac and cheese was a particular quirk that never failed to bring a smile to his face.
Brian is survived by his loving parents, Brian and Lakia Still; his caring siblings, Tyshirah Clark, Tynisa Clark, Treason Dumas, and Myki' Still; his cherished nieces and nephews, Mikayla, Jayshon, Treyana, Maliah, and Malaysia; and his adoring grandmothers, Sarah Jones and Deborah Brooks. Brian will be remembered as a beacon of light, a source of joy and laughter, and a pillar of strength and resilience. His spirit will continue to live on through the memories and stories shared by those who loved him.
In honor of Brian, we encourage you to leave your memories and upload photos of him to the memorial page. Each story and picture shared will help keep his spirit alive, reminding us of the adventurous, compassionate, smart and funny person he was. The world may have lost a beautiful soul, but heaven has gained an angel.
