Brian Frederick Struck was born on October 1, 1970, in Rock Island, IL to Frederick and Judith Myers Struck. He graduated from Winola High School and quickly entered the work force. Brian worked several jobs throughout his life, including construction but found his career in transportation. He began working as an over-the-road truck driver hauling freight to all parts of the United States. During this time, Brian became the proud father of two children: Sam and Lily. Most of Brian's life was spent in Illinois until he met Kendra Owens. The two began their life together as husband and wife on November 17, 2012. With this marriage Brian gained three stepchildren and began his life in Fairfield. When Brian wasn't behind the wheel of a truck at work, he enjoyed watching NASCAR and sitting behind the wheel of a boat at Lake of the Ozarks. He cared deeply for his family and as time passed cherished his role as grandfather. Brian made the most of the time he had here with us and will be forever missed but fondly remembered.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents.
Left to honor his memory is his loving wife, Kendra Struck of Fairfield, IA; two children, Sam (Brie) Struck and Lily Struck both of Illinois; three stepchildren, Nykole (Thomas) Welker of MI, Kelsey (Austin) Gire of IA, and Mitchell (Marsha) Thacker of IA; six grandchildren, Gracelyn, Owen, Bentley, Emma, Violet, and Amira; one sister, Lori (Jim) Sedlock, as well as many extended family and friends.
