Devoted to his family
WATERBURY – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Brian J. Sullivan, a beloved father and grandfather, on Sunday, August 6, 2023.
Brian was born on April 25, 1965 in Waterbury, the son of the late John and Julia (Kopursak) Sullivan. He was educated in local schools and proudly worked for over 30 years as a pipefitter. He was an avid Yankees and Steelers fan who loved watching the games with his family. He enjoyed many vacations, especially cruising throughout the Caribbean. As a devoted dad, he loved coaching and watching his sons excel at many sports during their childhood. He was enormously proud of his three sons, their spouses, and his granddaughter. He will be greatly missed by all those who were blessed to know and love him.
Left to honor his legacy and cherish his memory are: his ex-wife Veronica (Byron) Sullivan of Waterbury, his children: Kevin Sullivan and his wife Tessa of Plainville; Brendan Sullivan, his wife Sarah and their daughter Emily of Oakville; Patrick Sullivan and his significant other Louis Mark of Branford. He also leaves behind his siblings John, Steve, Kevin, Cathy, and Shirley Sullivan, as well as a host of nieces
and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Sullivan will be held on Friday August 11, 2023 at 6:30 p.m. at Casey's Eastside Memorial Funeral Home and Cremation Care 1987 East Main St @ Southmayd Rd Waterbury.
