Brian Tack, born September 20, 1965, to Robert Tack and Barbara (Hobart) Tack, passed away peacefully after a brief battle with heart disease.

Brian lived a happy life filled with simple pleasures that most of us take for granted. He loved watching game shows and had a particular fondness for Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Brian also enjoyed listening to country music, taking great joy in listening to the musical stylings of Jim Reeves. Brian also had a love of the outdoors, whether that was spending time sunbathing down by the river, or playing catch and keep-away with the football. Every morning, Brian would have a daily responsibility to do around town, and after his errands he would stop at a local shop for a snack, where the employees could enjoy the friendly company of their favorite regular customer. Although Brian was not verbal, he was able to express love and happiness in other ways, sometimes through teasing his friends and family, which he took great pleasure in.

Brian is survived by his sisters; Bonnie Amlaw and her husband James of Manchester, NH, and Brenda Goldstein and her husband Brett of Tampa, FL; his caregivers, Ron Marshall and Marc Bailey; and his two nieces, two nephews, and two great-nephews. Brian was blessed to have Ron Marshall as his homecare provider for over 30 years, who took him into his home and always loved and treated him like his own family. He is predeceased by his parents, Robert Tack and Barbara (Hobart) Tack.

A celebration of Brian’s life will take place in the spring. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to the American Heart Association in Brian’s memory (https://www.heart.org/en/get-involved/ways-to-give).

Brian touched the lives of everyone he encountered, and he will forever be remembered for the profound impact he left on those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
