Brian " Duck" George Taylor, 69, of Morristown, New Jersey, passed away on Friday February 7, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Brian was born in Summit, New Jersey, was raised in New Providence, graduating from New Providence High School in 1974 and was a dedicated member of the New Providence Fire Department for 49 years.
Brian worked as a parts delivery driver for Douglas Infinity in Summit New Jersey for over 20 years. Before that he worked for family. Brian has also worked for ACME Supermarkets in New Providence for over 10 years where he was loved by coworkers and customers alike. He was a member of Chatham United Methodist Church of Chatham, New Jersey for over 29 years.
Remaining to cherish Brian's memory are his daughter, Ainslie Myfanywy Taylor (Wesley); son, Eric George Taylor (Elizabeth); brother, Kenneth Taylor; sister, Loretta Sandau; niece, Jennifer Crocker; nephews, Kenneth Taylor Jr.; Shawn Sandau; and Johnathan Sandau; granddaughters, Ashlyn Crocker; Piper Taylor, Kaydance and Scarlet Sandau, Luna Ellen-Dora and Evelynn Ainslie Shreiber; grandsons, Archer and Athan Crocker and Tripp Taylor.
Brian is predeceased by his mother Genevieve Taylor, father Harold George Taylor, brothers, Joseph Taylor and Douglas Taylor.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13, 2025, at the Wm. A. Bradly & Son Funeral Home, 345 Main Street Chatham New Jersey from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home with Reverend Jeff Markay officiating.
