WILCOX, Brian Edward - Age 59, of Swartz Creek, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026. Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life service will be announced at a later date. Those wishing to honor Brian’s memory may make contributions in Brian's name to a charity of your choice.
Brian was born March 28, 1966, in Flint, the son of Gerald Lee and Jo Ann (Wallace) Wilcox. He was a 1984 graduate of Linden High School; and he attended Baker College. He had resided in the Swartz Creek area his entire life. He worked as a welder, iron worker and in the construction business, building homes. He was passionate about playing music, playing the guitar with several bands in the area and held a pilot’s license early in his young age - his first attempt at flying was an umbrella, jumping off the breezeway roof.Brian deeply loved his family and friends.He is survived by his children, Nicholas Wilcox of Swartz Creek and Christena Wilcox (Jordan Davis) of Williamston; granddaughter, Molly Jay Davis; father, Gerald Lee Wilcox of Swartz Creek; sister, Regina (Dennis) Champion of Fowlerville.He was preceded in death by his mother, Jo Ann Wilcox.
Brian will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and sense of humor, which touched everyone who knew him. His passion for music and flight brought joy not only to himself but also to those around him. Brian's legacy lives on through his family, friends, and the memories they shared together. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all.
