Brian Keith Wilkins, 55, of S. Chesterfield passed away on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Born June 24, 1970, he was the son of Bonita Overton Wilkins and the late Paul Mathis Wilkins, Jr.

For many years, Keith was a dedicated Motor Grader operator for Buchanan and Rice Construction. His skill and precision behind the controls earned him the respect of coworkers and supervisors alike—many considered him one of the best in the field. He took pride in his work and approached each job with the same care and craftsmanship that defined his life.

Outside of work, Keith was most at home in the woods or by the water. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed the peace of an early morning in a tree stand or the quiet bank of a river casting a line. He didn’t need much, just fresh air, open space, and time to soak in the beauty of the world around him.

He is survived by his four sons, Travis Wilkins, Brent Wilkins (Brittany), Brian Wilkins, Ayden Wilkins; grandchildren, Bailey Wilkins, Peyton Wilkins, Bentley Wilkins; mother, Bonnie Wilkins (Frank Williams); brother, Doug "Doodle" Wilkins (Anne); sisters, Lisa Ratliff (Mike), Robin Newhouse (Fred), Judy Hobbs; and numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

A celebration of life will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory, 2033 Boulevard. Online condolences may be registered at www.ealvinsmall.com.
