Brian Thomas Woodson, 55, of Glasgow, Kentucky passed away suddenly at home on Monday, September 30, 2024. He was born March 28, 1969 in Glasgow, Kentucky to George and Rita Woodson, who survive. Brian obtained a bachelor's degree from Murray State University and drove for the Amish. He loved shooting long range guns and very much enjoyed turkey and deer hunting, as well as teaching concealed carry classes. Brian was a master griller, a great cook, and was a devoted member of Coral Hill Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Tina Powell Woodson; bonus daughter, Maggie Wagner (Eli); bonus son, Jared Anderson; four granddaughters, McKinlee Anderson, Baxlee, Callie, and Abbey Wagner; one grandson, Jaxson Anderson; one brother, Michael Woodson (Holly); two nieces, Kelsay Miller (Derren) and Taylor Woodson; one great nephew, Lukas Miller; a special daughter, Rhonda Stevenson (Michael); one sister-in-law, Bonnie Collins (Lee Royce); and one brother-in-law, Stephen Powell (Brenda).
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Bill and Elizabeth Woodson and maternal grandparents, Hershel and Alma Thomas.
The funeral service for Mr. Woodson will be held 12:00 PM Friday, October 4th at Coral Hill Baptist Church with burial in the Glasgow Municipal Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Coral Hill Baptist Church and on Friday morning from 10:00 AM until time for the service at the church.
