Brian E. Woolet, 65, peacefully passed away with loved ones by his side at 8:50 p.m. on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Majestic Care of South Bend.
Born in Mishawaka on February 5, 1957, Brian was the son of Ralph Edward and Madge Rose (Widup) Woolet. He graduated from Penn High School.
In 1990, Brian married Wanda Stewart in Mishawaka.
He worked for INDOT for the City of Mishawaka for over 20 years until his retirement in 2012.
Brian was funny, stubborn, and loving. He was very passionate about his children and grandchildren. His family was his world and always made sure he did all he could to make them happy. He taught his children to always love no matter what and how to be an amazing dad.
He loved fishing, watching scary movies, sleeping, watching wrestling, walking to McDonalds, NASCAR, Mt. Dew, and going to the Hartford Motor Speedway.
Brian is survived by his children Breanna (Chad) Dill of Plymouth, Bethany (Kyle) Pantelleria Woolet of Walkerton, and Rodger Dale (Tiffany Shank) Woolet of Walkerton; stepchildren Bridgette (Josh) Gard and Wayne (Amanda) Thomas; grandchildren: Dustin Jr., Evan, Andrew, Mattie, Lorraine, Stephen, soon to be Bentlee, Trinity, Caitlynn, Wrigley and Walter; brother Mike (George) Woolet of OR as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; mother-in-law, Lorraine Jackson; and grandchildren: Akira Gard, Fayah, Kyler and Shayda Dill.
Private family services will be held.
The family would like to extend gratitude to Amber Bragg, Janet Greer, and Jessica Payne at Pilgrim Manor in Plymouth and to Tracy at Majestic Care of South Bend.
