With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Brianna Pauline Burton, lovingly known as Bri, from Centreville, Virginia, who passed away unexpectedly on April 27, 2025. Born in Alexandria, Virginia, on August 2, 2000, Bri brought beauty, brilliance, and joy to every life she touched.
Bri was a devoted mother to her beloved son, Myles Burton, and a deeply cherished daughter, sister, and friend. She is survived by her parents, Mark and Elizabeth Burton; her sister, Julie Burton; her brother and sister-in-law, Zach and Camille Burton; and her extended family who loved her dearly.
Gifted both academically and professionally, Bri studied Civil Engineering at Virginia Tech and George Mason University, where she was known for her intelligence, dedication and drive. While pursuing her degree, she was already working as a civil engineer. There she showcased her technical aptitude and analytical thinking, while bringing joy, laughter, and a positive light to everyone around her.
Bri's life was a beautiful blend of faith, creativity, and adventure. A proud Christian, she found joy in art, music, and modeling, often expressing herself through guitar and piano. She was also a talented athlete, enjoying soccer, skateboarding, and exploring the outdoors. Whether she was making memories with her friends or simply spending time with family, Bri radiated warmth and love.
Those who knew Bri remember her as beautiful inside and out, loving, and incredibly gifted. Her vibrant spirit, gentle heart, and unwavering devotion to those she loved will be deeply missed.
