Bridget Choyce, 64, of Phoenixville, PA, formerly of Newport, passed way on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at Phoenixville Hospital surrounded by family.
A graveside service to honor Bridget’s life will be held at 3 p.m., Thursday, September 5th at Gethsemane Memorial Park.
Bridget was born on October 8, 1959, in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, to the late Richard and Letha DiSantis. She was a graduate of West Carteret High School. She had a varied and fulfilling career, working at several restaurants in the area, the Kountry Kitchen, and caring for children at the Little Dumplings Daycare. In her spare time, Bridget was a woman of many interests. She had a love for basketball and was always ready for a spirited game of bingo.
Known for her playful nature, she delighted in playing pranks on her family, bringing laughter and joy to those around her. Bridget was the life of any gathering and was affectionately known as the “fun aunt” by her nieces and nephews. She had a deep love for music, especially the songs of Engelbert Humperdinck, which brought her comfort and happiness. Bridget loved her family deeply and she will be missed by all the lives she touched.
Those remaining to cherish her memory are her partner, Lynda Gail Bach; son, Christopher Choyce (Katelyn Keith); sisters, Geraldine (Geri) Cheever (Jimmy), Debbie Doolittle (Billy), Rosa Stadick (Jim); granddaughter, Graelyn Choyce; nieces and nephews, Timmy Doolittle (Leslie), JJ Cheever (Elizabeth), Tommy Cheever (Courtney), Tony Cheever (Nicole); great-nieces and nephews, Haley, Richie, Hunter, Kyleigh, Hailey, Hannah, Bailey, Macon, Nevaeh, John, Carolynn, Joey, and Frankie.
In addition to her parents, Bridget was preceded in death by her grandma, Anna DiSantis; brothers, Daniel Eugene Elliott, Michael Leon Phelps, John DiSantis; and nephew, Eddie Swanson.
