Warren Choyce Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Givnish Funeral Home - Cinnaminson on Oct. 29, 2024.
Warren F. Choyce, 94, a longtime resident of Cinnaminson, NJ, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2024. He was born on August 18, 1930, in Cinnaminson to George and Gertrude Choyce. Warren was the devoted husband of 58 years to his late wife, Joan Choyce (née Urban), and a loving father to Linda Sellars (Neil), Diane Wolf, and Miles Choyce. He was the proud grandfather of Michael Wolf Jr., Ryan Sellars (Amy), Kristin Wolf, and Lauren Forbes (Michael), and a cherished great-grandfather to Julia, Andrew, Madison, and Natalie. Warren was the last surviving sibling of George Choyce Jr. (Norma), Roy Choyce (surviving spouse Mildred), Richard Choyce (Harriet), Donald (Joan), Florence Ritter (Alfred), and Catherine Cheyne (Eugene). He will be deeply missed by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Warren graduated from Palmyra High School in 1948 and enlisted in the Navy soon after. He worked for RCA/GE in Moorestown for 38 years and he was a dedicated member of Epworth United Methodist Church in Palmyra for over 70 years. Warren was an avid sports fan. He followed all the Philadelphia teams, and he never missed an opportunity to support his children or his grandchildren in their sports or school activities. Everyone at the games knew "Grandpop" and looked for him. He also was a familiar face at many Cinnaminson High School sporting events his entire life. Warren enjoyed traveling the United States camping as well as following NASCAR, bike riding and tending to his garden. His tulips in the spring were a delight to all. Warren enjoyed Joan's good cooking and was known to never turn down a meal. The true center of Warren's life was his family. His deep love for his family was his greatest gift. He will be truly missed. He was a good man who had a great life.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Friday, November 1st, at Epworth United Methodist Church in Palmyra, NJ, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson. In lieu of flowers, donations in Warren's name may be made to the Planned Giving Fund at Epworth United Methodist Church in Palmyra.
