WATERLOO - Bridget Healey, 31, passed away unexpectedly in Rochester, N.Y., on Saturday, (June 1), leaving family heartbroken. Though her time with us was tragically short, the impact she made on those who loved her will endure forever.

Family and friends may call from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, (June 14), at the Coe-Genung Funeral Home, 46 W. Main St., Waterloo, N.Y. The memorial service will follow immediately at the funeral home.

Bridget was born May 28, 1993, at Griffis Air Force Base, Rome, N.Y., the daughter of John M. and Patricia A. Healey. She attended Border City School, Finger Lakes Christian School, and Waterloo High School, graduating with honors in 2012. She attended FLCC and graduated with honors in 2014, then attended St. John Fisher College studying biology and chemistry. She was a science scholar and graduated Cum Laude in 2016.

Growing up on a farm, she developed a love for animals and the outdoors. From a young age, Bridget displayed an artistic and clever outlook on the world. She enjoyed baking and won the Finger Lakes Times Christmas Cookie Contest. She delighted in crafting intricate sculptures from wool and clay, and fashioning chainmail with her skilled hands. Bridget poured her heart and soul into every creation, and she generously gave away everything she made.

Though Bridget's time on this earth was far too brief, the impact she made on those who knew her will endure for eternity. She leaves behind a legacy of love, creativity, and kindness that will continue to inspire and uplift us all.

She is survived by her mother Patricia A. (Frederick) Siegel of Waterloo, N.Y.; father John (Jacqueline) Healey of East Bridgewater, Mass.; brother Rannon Healey of Rochester, N.Y.; stepbrother Emory Oese-Siegel and children Adelynn and Oakley of Waterloo, N.Y.; stepsister Mirel Oese-Siegel of Rochester, N.Y.; paternal grandmother Lorna Healey of Plymouth, Mass.; half siblings Gianna, Tristan and Sophie of Mass.Survived by several loving Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.

Bridget was predeceased by grandparents Gerard T. and Patricia Cooke of Geneva N.Y.; Jeanette Seigel of Alder Creek, N.Y.; uncle David Cooke of Waterloo N.Y.; cousin Chris Clabeaux of Tampa, Fla.
