Bridget M. Neylan

Bridget M. Neylan, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was 87 years old.
Bridget was born in Doon, County Limerick, Ireland, and was the oldest of four children. She came to the United States at just 17 years old, full of courage and hope for the life ahead. Shortly after her arrival, she met Dan, the love of her life and future husband. Together, they built a beautiful life rooted in family, faith, and love, raising four children who were the pride and joy of her life.
A devoted stay-at-home mom, Bridget nurtured her children with boundless love and care, creating a warm home filled with kindness, laughter, and countless cherished memories. Her love extended to her three granddaughters, who were her greatest joy. She treasured every moment spent with them, sharing stories, laughter, and lessons that will live on in their hearts forever.
Bridget will be remembered for her unwavering love, her generous spirit, and the countless memories she created for her family and all who knew her.
She is survived by her children, Chris (Stacy), Danny (Angie), Michael (Karen) and Tricia, along with her beloved granddaughters, Molly, April and Madeline. Bridget leaves behind sisters Peggy, Paddy, brother Timmy, a niece, nephews and numerous cousins. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Bridget was predeceased by her husband Dan and her parents Michael and Nora Whelan.

Family and friends may call at the Thomas M. Gallagher Funeral Home, 104 Myrtle Avenue, Stamford, CT, on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 8, at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church, 1200 Shippan Avenue, Stamford, CT. Burial will be private.
