Bridget Talton

Bridget Talton, a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025, at the age of 58. She was born on November 23, 1966, in Dallas, Texas, to John Luster and Verdell Luster.

Bridget graduated from Justin F. Kimball High School and later attended Prairie View A&M University, where she proudly received a band scholarship. She accepted Christ at an early age at Concord Missionary Baptist Church. Her faith remained a constant pillar throughout her life. As a devoted member of The Potter's House Dallas, Bridget found a deep sense of community and purpose. She served faithfully on the New Members team and the Conference Registration team, always radiating warmth and kindness.

Professionally, Bridget had a fulfilling career in the medical field as a credentialing coordinator, where she took great pride in her work. She was known for her caring nature, attention to detail, and dedication to serving others.

Bridget was preceded in death by her mother, Verdell Luster, and her sister, Karen Lynn Clinton. She leaves behind to celebrate her life and carry on her legacy her father, John Luster; her daughter, Brianca Ramsey (Nicholas); her beloved grandson, Nicholas Christian Ramsey II (NJ); her brother, John Christopher Luster Sr.; and two nephews, Ian O'Neil Bell and John Christopher Luster Jr. She is also cherished by her Godparents, James & Thelma Dawn, and her God sisters, Colleen Henderson and LaShun Washington, along with a large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A devoted and loving grandmother, Bridget's most treasured moments were spent with her grandson, Nicholas, who affectionately called her "BB." Together, they enjoyed watching Family Feud and sharing popcorn and cold ginger ale, creating memories that will forever remain in their hearts. Bridget also enjoyed shopping, fine dining, and attending concerts, where she delighted in performances by artists such as Patti LaBelle and Frankie Beverly & Maze.

To know Bridget was to know fun, kindness, joy, and unwavering faith. Her laughter, her dedication to others, and her loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
