On the evening of February 25th 2025, Flight-33 safely touched down at the Palace of Heaven, bringing precious cargo, Brittaney Tashay Manuel. Born to Daphny Jackson and her biological father, Rodney Burton, Brittaney was lovingly raised by her mother, Daphny Jackson and dad, Broderick Johnson. She was also blessed with a bonus father, Cory Jackson.
Brittaney pursued her education with dedication and proudly earned her high school diploma from Life Skills Center. Subsequently, she attended Fortis Technical College for Cosmetology.
Above all, she was a mother who, despite life's challenges, deeply loved her children, VanDarius and Sh'Nyah. They were her greatest source of joy and pride, and her love for them was unwavering. Brittaney also had a heart for family. At family events or gatherings, while others sat back to relax, she could always be found breaking the kitchen down, taking the trash out, simply cleaning up. She made sure everything was put back in place, often staying until the very end to ensure everything was as it should be. Her spirit love, and selflessness will forever be remembered and will live on through her children and those who knew her.
She is preceded in death by her beloved sister, Brandi Johnson; her paternal grandmother, Wanda Whittington; her maternal grandfather, Bobby Manuel; and her uncle, Donovan Manuel.
Brittaney leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. She is survived by her beloved children, VanDarius and Sh'Nyah; her devoted mother, Daphny (Cory) Jackson; her father, Broderick (Nikki) Johnson; Godmother Lashunya Jones, her maternal grandmother, Barbara Manuel and her paternal grandmother Gwendolyn Burton and paternal grandfather, Robert Johnson bonus grandparents Stanley and Joan Jackson. She is also survived by her siblings: brothers Broderick Johnson Jr. Terrell Johnson, Brandon Johnson, Damarcus Fields, Daquan Randall, Daquavious Randall, Rodney Burton, Jr. and sisters Johnesha Johnson, Darreal Thurston and Ariana Jackson. Additionally, she leaves behind a host of loving aunts, including Natalie (Lavon) Robinson, Stephanie Manuel, Jasmine Manuel, Jade Manuel, and Erika Burton, all of Orlando, Florida; uncles Roderick Manuel, Sr., Willie Manuel, Sr., Elijah Bruton, and Eric (Ebony) Burton also of Orlando, Florida;
God-sisters Jasmine Fuce, Shawntavia Moore, X'Zavia Stinson, Le'Ajah Ingram, Brandee Bush and Arionna Devine all of Orlando, Florida and God-brothers; Bernard Bush Jr. and Davarius Longstreet, as well asnumerous cousins, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever hold her in their hearts.
Brittaney's warmth, kindness, and love will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on in those who knew and loved her.
