Brittany Antonia Mack-Cadiente, 25, was born on April 6, 1999, and went home to be with the Lord on September 22, 2024. Brittany was a beautiful young lady inside and out. She could light up a room with her kindness, love, compassion and her wonderful sense of humor. Brittany was always concerned about others even if she was going through a tough time, she wanted to make sure those she loved were ok if they were struggling. Brittany relied on her Faith to get her through tough times. Brittany had trusted in Jesus as Savior and was striving to get closer to Him.
Brittany was a light to all who knew or met her. She was such a blessing to her family and friends. She loved her niece and nephews as if they were her own, they were so excited and happy whenever they were together. She also loved cats. From feeding every stray cat to getting them re-homed, rescued or arranging for a place for cats to live until they found suitable housing, that was her passion. She was the only person that could make a stray cat love her as she loved them, and she named them all. She had just started volunteering at The Cat Cafe in Kalamazoo, MI.
Brittany enjoyed listening to her music and making funny snapchats and videos. She was such a wonderful person to be around and knew how to make you smile or laugh. She enjoyed planting flowers and used to knit as well. She was wise beyond her years and really educated herself on many topics and enjoyed discussions. She always tried to see the positive and wanted everyone including herself to be better.
Brittany had just begun studies at Kellogg Community College at the end of the summer semester. She was currently in her first full-time semester this fall. She was so excited for school and loved learning and being in the classroom. She was studying to go into the medical field as that was always another one of her passions.
Her last job was working at Oaklawn Medical Group in Marshall, MI as a Dept. Assistant and she loved it! Prior to that she had been a server at numerous restaurants in the area. She was not currently employed as she was devoting her time to her studies.
Brittany was preceded in death by her grandfather, John L. Mack of Nelson, PA. She is survived by her mother, Jan (Mack) Guzman and step-father Johnny Guzman of Battle Creek, MI; sister, Maegan Schultz and nephew, Tucker of Ceresco, MI; sister, Shanae (Mack) Florez and Jesús Florez of Battle Creek, MI and nephews, Daniel, Thomas and Dominic; and niece, Melanie; sister, Jasmine Cadiente of Battle Creek, MI; sister, Kayla Monaghan of Portage, MI; father, Brian and Melissa (Schwab) Monaghan; and sister, Arianna and brother, Parker of Dewitt, MI; grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins as well as friends.
All who loved Brittany will truly miss her dearly. Brittany made life brighter and was an absolute joy. Life will never be the same without her but life was truly touched by her. She was a wonderful gift of life. She is loved by so many and has forever changed our lives with her sweet spirit.

I´ve known Brittany my whole life sense we were little girls I remember hiding in the bathroom with pillows and blankets because she was scared of thunder storms lol and is staying up super late just acting crazy and her mom came up stairs because we were knocking the photos off the walls to all the memories at school ! She was such a kind and caring person and her passion for helping homeless animals especially cats was endless!

My first memory with Brittany was me being a brand new host at apple bees & her not realizing I was the morning host told me "please don´t be horrible like the host this morning" remind you it´s my first day alone as a host and I just looked at her and said I was the host this morning and the only thing that could come out her mouth was "bishhhhh I´m so sorry you weren´t that bad I´m brittany by the way" I have so many more memories with this girl from being friends for the past almost 6 years

Brittany was my cousins bestest friend for over 13 years and by default she viewed me as family as well. IYKYK. Brittany was a true empath and genuinely cared about all living things. Her sense of humor was unique as it was infectious. I will miss Brittany and the light she carried with her.

I have so much I could say when it comes to Brittany. We shared so many adventures and laughs together that I´ll cherish forever. I´ll miss talking to her and laughing with her everyday. Telling her about every little thing I saw throughout my day that reminded me of her. I don´t know what I´ll do without her. Forever my best friend and twin flame
