Brittany Marie Meeks

Brittany Marie Meeks, 29, of Montross, passed away on September 15, 2025. Brittany was born in Kilmarnock to Anne Maries Davis Lowery and the late William Franklin Meeks. She was a graduate of Washington & Lee High School and a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Nomini Grove.

Old movies, rock and roll music and anime were some of Brittany's passions. She appreciated the art that went into creating anime storylines and characters. She loved animals, especially dogs. Brittany lived a life characterized by her deep faith and her love for Jesus and we know she is resting peacefully in Heaven.

Brittany is survived by her mother, Anne Davis Lowery; her great-aunt, Doris Slater; her grandmother, June V. Herbert; her aunt, Sarah Taylor (Kenny); her uncle, Charles H. Polk, II (D.J.); and her cousins, Carson and Charlotte.

Welcoming Brittany into Heaven are her father William and her baby sister Karen.

A memorial service for Brittany will be held on Sunday, October 5, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Nomini Grove. The Rev. Dr. Megan Limburg will officiate with Reverend Steve Taylor. Brittany's family will receive friends in the church one hour prior to the service.
