Brittany Diane Wright, 33, affectionately known as “Britt” or “Britt-Britt” was born on May 9, 1990, in Harrisburg, PA departed from her loved ones at home on June 25, 2023.
Born at Polyclinic hospital, daughter of Timika D. Wright and Kemo Davenport Sr, raised by her mother and Michael Bethea. Brittany was a Graduate of Harrisburg High School class of 2008. She worked at Jewish Home of Greater Harrisburg from 2007-2009 and was adored and loved by her co-workers. Brittany had a kind, generous and loving heart, always willing to help others. She was a student at HACC, in the process of pursuing her lifelong dream of being a nurse.
Brittany loved spending time with her niece Myla, whom she called STINK and Brittany was known to her as “BOO BOO”.
During her time with us, Brittany was determined to be her own person in her own way. When fun was on the menu, she was first in line getting her hair styled, eyebrows arched then applying her makeup and ready to enjoy all festivities! She enjoyed watching Martin, Friday, and the BET hip hop awards. In her early years she enjoyed her weekly gymnastic classes and cheering for any team. At the age of one she was the youngest cougar cheerleader mascot. She was always her brother BryDrick’s biggest cheerleader. Never allowing her soft-spoken voice to be a sign of weakness, she proudly wore her Taurus Tattoo on her shoulder. She will always be our precious Mother’s Day Gift with the fortitude of a Taurus.
Along with her parents, Stink, family, and friends, Brittany leaves her brothers, BryDrick Wright, Kemo Jr., Keyon D, Sisters, Shavette Ramsey, Destiny D. of Harrisburg, Pa., Uncle Yayah Talib of Kentucky, special family members in Brittany ‘s life that have always been more than their title, Aunt Margo Wright (Gregg Cox) Harrisburg, Pa, Aunt Judith Cannon (Curtis Cannon) of Lakewood Ranch, FL.
