Brock A. McDowell

Mr. Brock Allen McDowell, age 55, of Madison, Indiana entered this life on October 3, 1966 in Georgianna, Alabama. He was the loving son of the late Bobby, Sr. and Dora Nell Hendrix McDowell. He was raised in Alabama and moved to Madison 29 years ago. He was united in marriage to Tricia Housefield on July 5, 1991 in Bay Minette, Alabama. This union was blessed with a daughter, Shandi. He worked for nearly 30 years for Hinkle's Sandwich Shop in downtown Madison. He had worked the last four years as manager of the Hanover Package Store. He loved music and had a large collection of cd's and enjoyed hanging out with his friends. Brock died on Wednesday, February 2, 2022, at 8:40 a.m. at the Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. A LOVING FAMILY
Brock will be missed by his loving daughter, Shandi Hilligoss of Vevay, Indiana; his grandsons, Gabriel Bare and Dante Hilligoss; his god daughter, Chelsea Newman Harmeson of Flag Staff, Arizona; his sisters, Barbara Davis, Jean Furby, and Thelma Hendrix; several nieces, nephews and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby McDowell, Sr., his mother, Dora Nell Hendrix McDowell, his brother, Bobby McDowell, Jr., and his son in law, Scott Patrick Hilligoss, died December 15, 2019.
FUNERAL CEREMONY
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
VISITATION
Friends may visit Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. at the Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre, 325 Demaree Drive in Madison, Indiana.
