Brookelyn Faye Nichols went to be with the Lord before she ever took her first breath on this earth. She was born sleeping on September 16th, 2025.
Her life was brief, held only in the womb, yet her impact is infinite. Brookelyn was surrounded by light and love through her mother’s pregnancy and birth. Jeremiah 1:5 reads: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you.” With the blondest hair and the most perfect little face, Brookelyn Faye entered the world already cherished beyond measure. Our hearts are overflowing with grace for the blessing of having known her presence, however short her time with us.
She is forever remembered by her mother, Rachel Nichols, her father, Nathan Nichols, her brother, Bryce, her sister, Brystol and all of their extended family and friends.
Though her journey ended before it began in our arms, we trust that it continues in ways we cannot see. For those of faith, we rest in the promise that she is safe with Jesus. For all of us, we hold to the truth that love is stronger than time, and that every soul leaves a mark that eternity cannot erase.
This family walks forward with both sorrow and gratitude. Sorrow for the loss of a child so deeply loved, and gratitude for the light she brought into our lives. As C.S. Lewis wrote: “There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.” We believe Brookelyn is now cradled in the arms of Jesus, where she will know only love, light, and eternal peace.
We ask for your prayers, encouragement, and support as the family takes time to grieve and heal. Every act of love and kindness carries this family forward. Brookelyn’s story reminds us: life, however short, is never wasted when it is filled with love.
