Brooks was the life of the party and was able to light up any room he walked into. You were guaranteed a lot of laughs when he was around. He always had a joke or a story ready to go for any occasion. A true joy to be around. Brooks truly lived out the lyrics to Johnny Cash's "I've Been Everywhere," as he spent several years as a truck driver. He never traveled without his trusted companion, Louie, his dog. He was a graduate of Sherman High School and was a member of Parkside Baptist Church.
Mr. Robinson leaves behind his mother, Carol Robinson of Sherman, TX; Aunt, Jenny May of Sherman, TX; Aunt and Uncle John and Peggy Jacobs of Denison, TX; Uncle, Patrick Robinson of Denison, TX; cousins, Leigh Ann Onwu, Erik Baker and wife Jessica, TJ Johnson, Michelle Johnson, Chris Robinson, Jennifer Robinson, Laura Robinson, Kyle Robinson and Nikki Robinson, Andrew Jacobs and Alex Jacobs.
He was preceded in death by his beloved father, Frank Robinson, grandparents, Elmer "Robbie" Robinson, Mary Robinson, Mary "Honey" Johnson, and Paul Johnson, Aunt, Lisa Robinson and Uncle, Tommy Johnson
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, October 13, 2025 at Fisher Funeral Home Chapel with close friend Ryan Kellow officiating.
