Thomas Hardy Hamm was born on May 28, 1972, in Charleston, South Carolina. He passed away Friday, September 26, 2025, at the age of 53 in Gainesville, Texas.
Thomas was preceded in death by his mother, Caroline Campbell Hamm and brother, David Hamm.
As a Gemini, Thomas showed kindness and love to everyone. He was a proud member of Alcoholic Anonymous and helped many people with their journeys to recovery. Thomas thrived at Tarrant County Community College earning his Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor certification graduating with a 4.0 G.P.A.
Thomas is survived by his husband Christopher Threatt; his daughters which were his pride and joy, Ally Hamm and Gracie (Anthony) Hamm; grandchildren, DJ "Peanut" Reeves and Skarlett Reeves; nephew, Anthony Hamm; niece, Harley (Kyle) Hamm and their children Wyatt, Aurora, Jaxon and Marshall "Little Hardy".
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 5, 2025, at the home of his Aunt Karen Knuckols, 1993 Blackburn Road, Diana, Texas 75640.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made in his name to Blood Cancer United, PO Box 98011, Washington, DC 20090-8011
Thomas often told people that if nobody has told you that they love you today, he loved you. In Thomas' memory, tell your family and friends you love them daily.
