Brooks Thomas Stevens, age 93, passed away at The Gables of Idaho Falls, Sunday, October 26, 2025.
He was born December 22, 1931 in Chesapeake, Virginia a son to Brooks Willie Stevens and Lena Leslie Moore Stevens. He attended schools, graduating from North Hampton High School Following graduation he enlisted in the United States Air Force.
He married Hazel Elizabeth Wells (Betty) September 5, 1954 in Deadwood, South Dakota. His career was in the Air Force and Civil services for the Navy with tours in Europe, N. Africa, and bases across the country.
He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Brooks enjoyed weaving, quilting and wood working.
He is survived by two daughters, Carole F. Gallup (Gordon) of Ririe, Id., Andi Schrishahn (Tom) of Delafield, WI, two sons, Eddie Stevens (Debbie) of Mesa, AZ., and Wally Stevens (Ellen) of Williamsburg, VA., a sister Anne Harrison (Rogers) of Summerville, S.C. and fourteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.
The family will receive friends, Thursday, October 30, 2025 from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Palisades Ward Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 3019 Swan Valley, Idaho, 83449.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery under the direction of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby
