Edward Alan Overman, 75, of Rigby, Idaho, passed away at the Idaho Falls Community Hospital, Sunday, October 26, 2025. Edward was born, May 21, 1950, in Winamac, Indiana, a son to Peggy Reinholt. Edward served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He was married to Sharon Overman, they later divorced. Edward worked as a mechanical insulator before retiring. Throughout his life, Edward resided in Rigby. He was passionate about hunting, fishing, reloading ammo, shooting guns, horseback riding, and anything outdoors. He enjoyed basketball, watching football, joking around, gardening, and had a love for good food.
He is survived by his son Eric Overman of Rigby, a daughter, Megen Overman of Rigby, a granddaughter, Samantha Gregston of Rigby, two grandsons, Eli Overman of Lusk, Wyoming, and Easton Montoya of Green River, Wyoming, and his ex-wife Sharon Overman of Rigby.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Peggy Heynie and a son Corey Overman.
Cremation services are under the direction of Eckersell Funeral Home.
