Kelly El Jackson

Kelly El Jackson, 61, of Rigby, Idaho, passed away on November 5, 2025, at Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls, Idaho. She was born on February 23, 1964, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Boyd Champion and Bonnie Lou Johnson.

Kelly grew up in Ririe and graduated from Ririe High School. She later attended Boise College. She married Kurt Andrew Jackson, and together they raised two beautiful daughters.

Kelly was a devoted homemaker who found joy in caring for her family. She was known as the life of the party and had a bright, girly spirit that drew people to her. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids and enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening, cooking, cleaning, crocheting, and doing scratch art.

She is survived by her husband, Kurt Andrew Jackson; her daughters Britta (Chris) Hansen and Amber Jackson; her grandchildren Brayzlee Hansen, Ashton Grover, and Mason Jackson; and her sister, Kay Volkema.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Boyd Champion and Bonnie Johnson; her brothers, Kit Summers, and Thayne Champion; and her sister, Kristy Summers.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 15, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the Holdens Lazy H Ranch, 1694 Palisades Creek Road, Irwin, Idaho 83428.

Kelly will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
