Blake Randall Thomas, 75, of Rigby, Idaho, passed away peacefully on November 7, 2025. He was born on January 21, 1950, in Idaho Falls, Idaho to Seymour Randall Thomas and Mary Inez Anderson Thomas.
Blake grew up in Rigby and graduated from Rigby High School. He later attended Ricks College. On July 12, 1973, he married Lori Neville, and together they raised their family in Rigby. They were married for 52 years.
Blake was a talented painter and worked in residential painting, and at Ricks College, he was a Columbia Paint dealer and owned and operated Vacuum Sales and Service business. He had a love for classic cars and enjoyed attending car shows.
Blake was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Blake faithfully served in many callings including Scoutmaster, counselor in the bishopric, executive secretary, ward mission leader and served a mission in the Frankfurt Germany Mission.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Neville Thomas; his children Laina “Jill” Maule of Fort Collins, Colorado; Cassie Ann Thomson (Tyler) of Rigby, Idaho; Jesse Randall Thomas (Jennifer) of Rigby, Idaho; Darrus Jennings Thomas (Jimaliegh) of Rigby, Idaho; and Eric Levi Thomas (Sierra) of Orting, Washington; his sister Barbara Elynn Guatier of Rigby, Idaho; his brother John Albert Thomas of Rigby, Idaho; 15 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Seymour and Mary Thomas; his sister Mary Annette Thomas; and his grandson, Connor Blake Thomas.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 13, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Rigby Stake Center (258 West 1st North, Rigby, Idaho). The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Rigby Stake Center, and again prior to the service from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. Burial will follow in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery.
