Nancy Louise Robison, age 80, of Rexburg, ID passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026 of natural causes.
Nancy was born on April 23, 1945 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jay Robinson and Helen Openshaw. She was the second of seven children. Nancy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Nancy was raised in Newdale, Idaho, where at the age of thirteen, she helped stock and tend the family grocery store.
Nancy graduated from Sugar City High School. While attending there she was a Digger Darling, Vice President, and was a member of multiple school clubs including Pep Club, Pep Band, MCCA, FHA, Madrigals and concert band. Nancy was musically gifted and she played many instruments. Later she attended Ricks College and received an Associate of Science Degree, studying in the Nursing Program.
Nancy married Ricky Ferris Robison in October of 1965, in the state of California. They were blessed with three children and raised them in Hibbard, Idaho. After 23 years together, they divorced.
Nancy worked at many local facilities, including their family grocery store in Newdale, Madison Memorial Hospital and American Potato where she was a secretary for many years. Nancy also worked at R&B Drive In with her partner, Dennis.
Nancy spent most of her days enjoying camping, golfing, razor riding and dancing to good tunes, no matter the location!
Nancy is survived by her children; Kelly Rick (SharylAnn) Robison, Rachelle (Aaron) McDougal, and Candice Robison, all of Rexburg, her siblings; Colene, Elaine, Marsha, J Lynn, and Paula; 12 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, father; Jay McCoy Robinson, mother; Helen Elizabeth Openshaw and sister; Dawna Robinson.
A special thanks and great appreciation to The Homestead Assisted Living in Rexburg and Hospice services for their considerate care and time spent assisting Nancy through the end of her life.
A viewing will be held Saturday, February 21, 2026, from 10:00am - 12:00 at the Hibbard Church, 2001 N 3000 W Rexburg, Idaho 83440. Followed by a Burial at the Teton-Newdale Cemetery.
