Eleanor "Sissy" Louise Robison, 92, of Mount Savage passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Sterling Care.
Born on November 26, 1933, to the late Pearl (Machin) and Charles Frankenberry. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Clayton Charles Robison Jr. and her longtime companion, Paul Stair, her two brothers, Mike and Ray Frankenberry and her two fur babies, Cuddles and Shasta, she is the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Sissy retired after twenty-six years at Mount Savage school, where she made the town’s favorite cinnamon rolls and donuts. The schoolchildren made her life so happy. Her life revolved around her children and grandchildren; they were the light of her life. Sissy enjoyed cooking Sunday dinners and holidays were for her family. She loved being a homemaker as much as working outside the home. She loved baking and gardening. She was a member of St. Georges Episcopal Church of Mount Savage and Mount Savage VFD Auxiliary member. She started the Friday Night Dinners and was always offering food to people.
Surviving are her children, Rick Robison and wife Janet, Steve Robison and wife Lisa, Keith Robison, Maria Robison, Bev O’Donnell and husband Mike, RaeAnna Swauger and husband Jim; sixteen grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
Family and friends will be welcomed at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Avenue, Frostburg, MD on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 from 5 to 8pm.
Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Barry Winters and Pastor Jim Swauger officiating.
Interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery in Mount Savage.
