In Milwaukee, Bruce met his loving wife, Shirley Ann (nee Prasser) Albertson. Bruce and Shirley

were united in holy matrimony on October 17, 1953 and remained married for almost 53 years

until her passing in 2006.

Along with his wife, Shirley, he ran the Skate Hut and Skaters' Edge for many years, was

involved with the WIM Figure Skating Invitational for over 30 years, and was a past President

and Competition Chairman for the Greater Milwaukee Figure Skating Club.
