Bruce Bowers

Bruce Eugene Bowers, 75 of Abilene passed away December 11, 2025. He was born in Abilene, Kansas December 29, 1949 the son of Forrest Glenn and Donna (Calstrom) Bowers. Bruce worked at ALCO, Memorial Hospital and West Country Mart. He was united in marriage to Debra Jamison May 17, 1991 in Abilene. She survives of the home. Other survivors include his son, Kody Bowers and grandson Ayden Bowers. Two brothers, Barry Bowers and wife Donna and Brad Bowers and wife Brenda. One sister-in-law, Cindee Jamison and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Services will be 10:00 A.M., Friday, January 9, 2026 at Danner Funeral Home. Inurnment will follow at the Abilene City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, January 8, 2026 from 5-7PM at Danner's. Family suggests memorials be given to his grandsons education fund. Checks can be made out to Ayden Bowers Education Fund. Memorials may be dropped off or mailed to Danner Funeral Home, 501 N.
