Obituary
Bruce Kevin Bucher, 68, of Pecks Mill, WV, departed this life on Sunday, May 7, 2023 at his residence.
He was born November 10, 1954 in Winchester, VA, the son of the late Lyda Mae and Clovis Bucher.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister in law; Kristi Goodman, and his father in law; Harry Goodman.
Bruce enjoyed going to church at Upper room ministries and helping with their feed and seed that was a program for those in need. Bruce had a heart to help the community. Bruce enjoyed his Tuesday's with his son Kevin where they would eat Chinese and watch movies at home. He loved being able to keep his granddaughter Kyria a couple times a week. Bruce loved fishing and walking the beach.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife; Sheri Bucher, two sons; Kevin Bucher and Derek (Georgia) Fowler, two sisters; Sandra and Vicki Bucher, one grand daughter; Kyria Fowler, brother in law; Harry (Jill) Goodman, sister in law; Michelle (Donavan) Smith, nieces; Amber Nixon, Ashley Dingus, Faith Adkins, and Brianna Smith, nephew; Josh Goodman, great nieces; Maci Dingus, Lakyn Smith, Willow Smith, and Aria Goodman, great nephews; Jaycob Mastermonico, Landon Dingus, Cody Mastermonico, Paxton Harris, Chase Dingus, and Owen Harris, good friend; Rusty Mills, and best friend; Ted Baldwin.
Services will be held at 12:00 pm, Thursday, May 11, 2023 at Freeman Funeral Home with Curtis Gibson officiating.
Visitation will be on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM at the funeral home.
Freeman Funeral Home, Chapmanville, WV is in charge of the arrangements.
