Bruce Ciulla, age 78, of Foxboro, passed away peacefully on August 21st after a brief illness, surrounded by the comfort of loving family.

Bruce was born on September 11, 1946 and was raised in Sharon, MA. He was a graduate of Catholic Memorial High School in West Roxbury, MA. For over 50 years, Bruce worked for and subsequently owned V. Ciulla & Son, a building contracting company known for its quality work and integrity. His work ethic and commitment to excellence shaped his business into a trusted name in the community and was the foundation for many important and life-long friendships. In addition to his profession, Bruce was a dedicated member of his church, attending daily mass and serving faithfully as a Eucharistic Minister for St. Mary's of Foxboro for many years. His service to the church was an expression of his deep faith, and he found great joy in helping others through this role. Throughout his life, Bruce took comfort in quietly helping others in their times of need. His presence offered a source of strength and kindness.

Above all, Bruce was a devoted family man. He shared 57 years of marriage with the love of his life, Kathy. He was a proud and loving father to Christine Ciulla of Foxboro, Brian Ciulla of Somerville, Bruce Ciulla (and wife Tracy) of Hanover, Mary Geissler (and husband Gavin) of Foxboro, and John Ciulla (and wife Missy) of North Attleboro. His five grandchildren, Avery, Mia, Dylan, Austin, and Owen, whom he adored, brought him immeasurable joy, and he cherished every moment spent with them. Bruce also leaves behind dear brother and sister-in-laws, and many loved nieces and nephews. Bruce was the son of the late Leo and Margaret (Peg) Ciulla and is also predeceased by his sister Peggy Carpeno and brother Lee Ciulla.

Bruce's memory will live on through the lives of his family, friends, and all who were touched by his kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend calling hours on August 27th from 4 to 7pm at the Roberts and Sons Funeral Home, 30 South Street, Foxboro. A funeral mass will be held on August 28th at 10am at St. Mary's Church, 58 Carpenter St, Foxboro. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (www.stjude.org).
