Bruce Dempsey Obituary
On November the 12th 1950 in Washington, Iowa he was born the son of Jack and Donna Garrett Dempsey.
He honorable served his country in the United States Army during his services he was stationed in Vietnam.
He enjoyed restoring old cars and motorcycles.
Bruce is survived by a Daughter Alexandria Dempsey of Dallas, Texas and her son Cash. Two step-children Paul Batel of Texas and Rachel Harsh of Washington, Iowa. Two sisters Nikki and Jeffrey Adams of Memphis, Missouri, and Korki and Brian Shumaker of Kirksville, Missouri. Along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
Bruce worked at the Modine factory in Washington, Iowa until his health failed. Then he moved to Memphis, Mo fifteen years ago to be close to family.
He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father Donna and Theo Peterson. A brother Lance Peterson.
Full Military Honors, by Milton American Legion, will be at the Sunnyside Cemetery in Milton, Iowa on February, 28th, 2026 at 3p.m.
An expression of sympathy in memory of Bruce Dempsey may be left to the Sunnyside Cemetery and Hospice. A memorial may be left at or mailed to the Memphis Funeral Home 378 S. Market Street, Memphis, Missouri 63555.
