Bruce Dennison Obituary
He was born July 16, 1954, to Claude & Helen Swarat Dennison.
A 1972 graduate of Crawfordsville High School, he worked for Raybestos for 33 years and retired from Nucor Steel in February 2022.
Bruce loved to play golf and listen to music. He was a member of the Senior Men's Golf Association and the Eastside Baptist Church.
He married Linda Miller Bridges on January 9, 1981, she survives.
Also surviving are his 2 sons Jason of Sparta, WI & Phillip (Amy) of Crawfordsville; 2 brothers Clint (Shain) of Nashville, TN & Matt of Columbus, MS; a sister Wendie of Bon Aqua, TN; 2 granddaughters and 1 grandson.
Bruce loved his wife, children, grandkids, and family.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Whicker officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 Thursday and one hour prior to the service on Friday. Cremation will follow the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bruce Dennison Memorial Golf Fund, envelopes will be available at the service.

My name is Lawrence Henry, and I was a classmate of Bruce's at crawfordsville high School. Bruce was not only my friend but he was my doubles partner in varsity tennis at CHS after I partnered with my brother Walt. Bruce had a very characteristic serve in tennis, and it had so much spin that had confused our opponents constantly. But better than that, he made the game of tennis fun for both of us. And what was even better, the next year his brother Clint became my doubles partner. And later, my brother Jim was on the same team with Bruce's brother Matt. They were all three very special to me, but mostly Bruce who I regret will not be at the 50th reunion, but I will make sure that everybody celebrates the life of Bruce.
