Bruce Evans Obituary
He was born on 1/8/1953 in Washington Court House, OH. to Paul C. And Joann (Marsh) Evans.
Bruce attended Wilmington High School, then went to work for his father at Paul Evans & Sons trucking as a truck driver and mechanic. He hauled freight out of International Paper Company in Wilmington, OH. In the early 2000's he and his wife formed Evans Agency of Ohio. They hauled freight from Ahresty of Wilmington, OH. and U-Haul out of Arizona. He went on to retire in 2016 and moved to Leesburg, FL.
He is survived by his wife Mary Jane Evans, whom he married in 1989. He is also survived by his 4 children, Jamie (Rachel) Evans, Jeremy (Tricia) Evans, and Melissa (Brett) Eltzroth all of Clinton County OH. and Jason (Jessica) Pollo of Roy, WA. His 2 brothers, John (Joann) Evans, of Wilmington, OH. Gary Evans of Leesburg, FL. and his sister, Marilyn (Bob) Fricker of Bradenton, FL. 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul C. Evans and Joann (Marsh) Evans. His son Joshua David Evans, and his brother Tim Evans. After Bruce retired, he gave back to his neighbors by mowing their yards, repairing golf carts, and supplying tools and help to all that needed it.
A celebration of life will be held in both Fruitland Park, FL. and Clinton County OH. at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted with BALDWIN BROTHERS Funeral & Cremation Society-Spanish Springs, 352-430-1449. Sentiments are encouraged at www.baldwincremation.com.
