Bruce Gordon Harbuck, age 73, of Sweetwater, Texas, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
Born on June 28, 1951, in Abilene, Texas, Bruce made his home in Sweetwater, where he was known as a skilled and dedicated mechanic. He was a man of the outdoors-----fishing, hunting, and trapping brought him peace and joy.
Bruce was also known for his quick wit and great sense of humor. He loved to tell jokes and bring a smile to those around him. Whether with family, friends, or even strangers, he had a knack for making people laugh and feel at ease.
A devoted Christian, Bruce lived his life grounded in faith. One of his favorite passages was Psalm 25, a reflection of his humility and trust in the Lord's guidance.
Bruce is survived by his loving wife, Juanita Harbuck; his children, Toby (Stephanie) Harbuck, Tony (Tara) Harbuck, Randy Bradberry, and his sister Shayla Veal. He also leaves behind seven grandchildren, Sara, Kyle, Emma, Garrett, Savannah, Tyler and Taylen, as well as three great grandchildren, Tayvien, Kiyah and Kylany. Bruce is also survived by numerous nephews and his faith family who will carry on his memory and sense of humor.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wilson Harbuck and Julia Loetta Williams Harbuck; and his sisters, Sharon Boiles and Johnnie Jones. Bruce will be remembered for his strength, his laughter, and the quiet faith that guided him. He will be deeply missed.
