Sam Wayne Harbuck

Sam Wayne Harbuck, 83, of Fitzgerald, Georgia, died Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 11 AM Saturday, August 9, 2025, at the Evergreen Cemetery, in Fitzgerald, Georgia, with the Rev. Steve Hand officiating.
Mr. Harbuck was born December 22, 1941, in Ben Hill County, Georgia, to the late Sam Rutherford & Ida Mildred Fletcher Harbuck. He had lived in the community over 32 years and retired from managing a trucking company. Mr. Harbuck enjoyed spending time outdoors on his farmland and could often be found riding his lawnmower.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Gail Hamilton Harbuck; three daughters: Sheri Barta & Greg of Charlotte, North Carolina, Michelle Caudy & Aaron of Cumming, Georgia and Jennifer Heflin & Michael of Jefferson, Georgia; grandchildren: Samantha Barta, Ali Barta, Micah Heflin, Avery Caudy, Madison Heflin and Lexi Caudy; a brother, Robert Harbuck & Helen of Monroe, Georgia; and a nephew, Robert Harbuck, Jr. & Tanya of Covington, Georgia.
