Treasuring The Memories Of Bruce Hobbs,

Bruce Alan Hobbs, 67, of Fort Smith, Arkansas, passed away on February 10, 2026, at Mercy Hospital. He was born on June 3, 1959, in Kansas City, Kansas, to Eloise Golden Birdsong and Virgil Lee Hobbs.

Bruce was a highly skilled automotive technician who earned the distinguished titles of ASE Master Tech and GM Gold Key Tech before retiring. He took great pride in his craft and was known for his dedication, precision, and unmatched knowledge under the hood. Outside of work, Bruce found his greatest joy building cars, drag racing, and fishing. Whether at the track, in the garage, or by the water, he was in his element. He had a razor-sharp wit and a magnetic personality. Charming in a way that could make an insult sound like a compliment, Bruce had a gift for storytelling that left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of listening. His humor, stubborn love, and unforgettable stories will be cherished forever.

He is survived by his four children: Chris Perry, Kristea Hobbs, Ashley Means, and Alex Hobbs. A service to celebrate Bruce's life will be held on Saturday, March 7th at 1:00 p.m. at House of Restoration, 2201 South 46th Street, Fort Smith, Arkansas. Visitation will be held at House of Restoration Church.

Bruce Alan Hobbs leaves behind a legacy of strength, humor, stubborn love, unforgettable stories, and a life fully lived. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Cremation is under the thoughtful care of River Glenn Cremation and Funeral Services
