Dr. Bruce McNeil Milburn Sr., MD passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 70 in Merritt Island, FL. Born on March 23, 1954, Bruce dedicated his life to medicine and his family, saving and touching countless lives as a respected rheumatologist and internist. He held degrees from Belmont Abbey, Hahnemann Medical College, and Georgetown University, which propelled him into a career marked by compassion and innovation. Bruce was a devout member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and. His faith was an integral part of his life, guiding him as a healer and family man. Bruce's personal life was rich with interests, including golf with all three children, shooting sports, specifically trap with daughter, Pamela, opera, classical music, cycling and walk abouts with the whole family. He enjoyed watching daughter Mary Claire and son, Bruce Jr. compete in swimming throughout their college years. He also enjoyed watching daughter, Pamela, perform with the Florida State University Marching Chiefs.
We know he is now walking, running, feeling no pain, in the presence of Jesus watching down on his beloved family who knows that one day we'll all be together once more.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Anne-Marie Milburn; his daughters, Pamela Anne Milburn and Dr. Mary Claire Milburn, DPT; his son, Dr. Bruce McNeil Milburn, Jr., MD (Laura); and his cherished grandchildren, Veronica Pamela Anne Milburn and Connor McNeil Milburn.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mildred Milburn (nee Wioncek).
