Bruce Michael Paul, 73, died on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Alliance Health (Baldwinville Nursing Home) in Baldwinville, MA, after an illness. He leaves his wife, Neva Novakowski Paul, sister, Judith Paul Whitaker of California, and Tammy S. Paul-Gough and Kevin Gough of Connecticut, several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews, one great-grand nephew, and many cousins. He was born in Winchendon, MA, the son of the late Leo Alfred Paul and Jeannette Loretta (Brow) Paul. Siblings that predeceased him were infant Ronald Paul, Sharon Paul Harvey, and Sally Jo Paul. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War Era, Honorably Discharged from the Naval Submarine Medical Center, Groton, CT, as a Medical Assistant (Hospital Corpsman Class "A" School graduate). He was awarded the National Defense Service Medal. He was educated in the Healthcare field. He worked in several different aspects of healthcare, from the U.S. Naval Hospital Corp. School, Practical Nurses Training, National Naval Medical Center, and Psychiatric Tech. Training, U. Mass., Amherst, MA, Nursing Major, San Diego State Univ., Business Major, American International College, Post graduate courses in Counseling, C.N.A. Training, American Red Cross First Aid, and Adult CPR/AED, a Private Duty Practical Nurse, a Home Daycare Provider, Eunice Kennedy Shriver Center, Rehabilitation Counselor, Salvation Army ARC Director of Counseling and GAAMHA Night Supervisor and N.E.R.S. Residential Director, Seven Hills / WAARC Assistant Director and Awake Overnight Staff Person, Assisted Living for special needs individuals. HE WAS LOVED BY EVERYONE. A service will be held in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery Chapel, 111 Glenallen Street (Route 202), Winchendon, MA 01475, on Thursday, December 18, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. Stone Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA 01473, has been entrusted with his funeral arrangements.
