Bruce A Rudnick, 68, of Hoffman Estates passed away on December 14, 2023. Bruce was born in Chicago, IL on December 17, 1954 to parents Lorraine and Roy Rudnick. He served in the United States Army; stationed in Schweinfurt, Germany where he learned how to cook. Bruce spent his entire career dedicated to Kester Solder, where he met his loving wife, Theresa. In his younger years, Bruce enjoyed hunting and fishing in Wisconsin, especially when his two sons would join him. He also enjoyed watching his daughter play basketball and softball. Bruce liked a well-maintained yard with a flourishing garden and always loved a good party with his family and friends- including Dr. McGillicuddys, blackberry brandy with a Miller Lite in hand. When Bruce wasn't cheering on his beloved Bears and Cubs, he would be watching Fox News. While Bruce will be missed dearly, we are comforted knowing that he is at peace surrounded by loved ones who've also passed including his adored pups, Cody and Sharky.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 36 years, Theresa; his three children, Dan (Holly) Rudnick, Kevin (Cheryl) Rudnick and Tiffani Rudnick; five grandchildren, Matthew, Josh, Emily, Rylin and Ethan; mother-in-law, Gloria Watzke; sister-in-law, Alice DeBock; brothers-in-law, Jason Boryca and Kevin Boryca; nephew, Kevin; nieces, Valorie, Taylor, Kaitlyn, K'Lee; God Daughter Tatiana, extended family, and cherished friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Lorraine (Bob) Dean and Roy Rudnick; brother, Mark Rudnick; and father-in-law, Phil Watzke.
