Obituary of Michael Rudnick
Michael Rudnick, 70, passed away April 18, 2025, after a short battle with cancer. Michael is survived by his wife Roslyn, and his children, Bryce and Giselle Rudnick.
Michael was born in Johannesburg, South Africa to Issy and Faye Rudnick. He was the eldest brother in their family of five, and somebody to look up to for his siblings Marcia and Hilton. As a youth he enjoyed team sports and songwriting. He earned a business degree from the University of South Africa and found a job in advertising, where he could utilize his creative talents. He married Roslyn in 1986 and quickly emigrated to the United States, settling in San Diego, California. Michael and Roslyn enjoyed eleven years in San Diego, welcoming their twin children in 1994.
In 1997 they moved to Denver, Colorado, where Michael worked at the Allied Jewish Federation and the Jewish Community Center, as an Executive Fundraiser. Denver was home to Michael as he raised his family and expanded his circle into an almost overwhelming amount of dear friends.
Michael retired in 2020 and enjoyed his time playing golf and poker with his friends, working on the crossword, traveling with his wife and kids, rooting for (and rueing) the Broncos, and working on his novel. When he found something funny, which was often, he laughed with all his heart.
He was a beloved husband, father, sibling, uncle, and friend, who lit up every room he walked into and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
A Graveside Service will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Nebo Cemetery; A livestream on the Feldman Mortuary YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/c/feldmanmortuary
