Peggy Margaret Elizabeth Morgan (nee Swan), passed away on September 17, 2025 in Frisco, Colorado after a short illness. Peggy was born August 9, 1938 in London, England. She often told about her childhood during the war, playing on mounds of rubble and spending nights in bomb shelters. She married a GI, Rufus Morgan, in London 1957 and came to the USA. After attending beauty school, she moved to Summit County in 1969 with her two sons, Larry and Matthew. In Dillon, she operated a hair salon throughout the 70s -- Chelsea Square for ladies and King's Road for men. In the 1980s, after attending the cooking school, Le Cordon Bleu London, she returned to Dillon and wrote a cooking column in the Summit Daily News called The Upper Crust while working at the Dillon Factory Outlet shops. Throughout her life, she sewed and knitted and had a great love of dogs. Peggy is survived by her two sons, Larry Morgan of Fairbanks, Alaska and Matthew Morgan of Frisco, Colorado, and relatives in England.
