Bruce Swenor Obituary

Bruce was born in Marquette, on May 14, 1967, son of the late Donald Swenor and Marilyn Schofield. He was a graduate of Marquette Senior High School. Following graduation he worked for Harvey Oil, WalMart, and at the Munising Sawmill. Bruce married his wife of 23 years, Angela Frederick on November 30, 2001.
Bruce was a member of the Keweenaw Bay Indian Community. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and was very active before becoming disabled. Bruce will be remembered for being a friendly, happy person, always willing to do something to help someone else.
Bruce is survived by his wife- Angela Swenor, son- Kenneth Swenor, daughter- Autumn Peterson, 4 brothers- Paul, Dan, Michael, and Richard Swenor, and 2 nephews- Daniel and Nick Swenor. He was preceded in death by his parents, and grandmother- Alice Swenor.
Bruce's family will greet relatives and friends at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home on Friday February 28, 2025 from 2:00pm-3:00pm. A memorial service will follow at 3:00pm with Rev. Kevin McIlhany officiating.
