It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bruce Norman Wuerdeman, who left us on February 27, 2026, at the age of 73. Bruce was born on March 11, 1952, in Mariemont, Ohio, and spent the last years of his life in Fayetteville, where he created a warm and welcoming home.
A proud laborer at Pack Lab, Bruce dedicated his life to work, but his true passions were found in the great outdoors. He was an avid fisherman and a skilled gardener, always with dirt on his hands and a smile on his face. Whether he was casting a line into his favorite fishing hole or tending to his beloved plants, Bruce reveled in the beauty of the world around him. He was a true outdoorsman at heart and had a love for hunting that kept him connected to nature.
To those who knew him, Bruce was nothing short of the "World's Greatest Dad." He leaves behind his son, Danny (Ronda Kay Jones) Wuerdeman, and his niece, Michele Dinwiddie, who will remember him for his kind spirit, hearty laughter, and ability to make every moment feel special.
Though he may no longer be with us, Bruce's spirit will continue to shine brightly in every garden and fishing trip that follows. He will be missed dearly but remembered fondly by those who carry forward his legacy of love, laughter, and adventure.
Bruce was preceded in death by parents Norman & Wilma Wuerdeman and wife Debra Wuerdeman.
