WALKERTON – Bryan S. Berkebile passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 14, 2024 at the Center for Hospice Raclin House following an illness. He was born on August 5, 1959 in Wabash, IN to Jay and Beverly (Locke) Berkebile, and was 65 years-old at the time of his death.
He was a Veteran of the US Marine Corps and previously worked as a CNC Programmer. On March 29, 1986 in Walkerton, he married his true love Deb (Miller). Bryan was an avid outdoorsman, especially fishing, hunting, kayaking, hunting mushrooms and camping. He also loved riding motorcycles and playing golf. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family that he cherished dearly.
Bryan is survived by his wife Deb; two children Tiffany (Andrea) Numbers and Connor Berkebile; one granddaughter River Numbers; father Jay (Carol) Berkebile; one sister Dawn Dubin; two brothers, Nick Berkebile and Mitchy Tanaka; one nephew Randy Dubin; and his parents-in-law Jim and Ann Miller. He is preceded in death by his mother Beverly.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service at 5:00 EDT on Friday, September 27, 2024 at the Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends from 3:00 to 5:00 EDT also on Friday, September 27 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations in Bryan's memory be made to Center for Hospice.
