Bryan Hendrex
Age 59, of Morris, IL, passed away April 2, 2025, at his home. He was born November 4, 1965, in Joliet, IL, the son of Dora (nee Heck) and Paul Hendrex.
Bryan grew up in Braceville, graduated high school, and attended technical school to become an auto mechanic. He owned and operated Bryan's Autoworld in Braidwood for 32 years and had many loyal customers. He enjoyed cheering on the Cubs, the Bears, and especially loved watching NASCAR. He also worked on local race cars in the pits at Grundy County Speedway on Friday nights.
Survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Lori (nee Wulffen) Hendrex; his loving son, Brandon Hendrex; dear sisters, Tina Hendrex and Terry Champion; dear brother, Duane Hendrex; numerous nieces, nephews and friends also survive.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Hendrex; mother, Dora Wilson; and brother, Orman "Lee" Heafner.
At Bryan's request, there will be no formal services and cremation rites have been accorded.

I sure do miss my stepson whom was a very good mechanic and person. I think about him often. I also would like to wish his son Brandon a happy 31st birthday!

My Stepson Bryan Was a wonderful and loving person. He took care in everything he did and would help anyone. He always took care of my vehicles and we would help each other out when ever it was needed. His brother Duane and I will miss him dearly
